When it comes to life "After High School", secondary school graduates today have more options than at any time in the history of mankind. However, with more options comes more need to do your research in order to make sure that the option you end up choosing is the right one for you.

As the publisher of Your Career Planner, it is my goal to provide you with as much information as possible so that when it comes time for you to choose what to do with your life after you graduate, you have a better chance of enjoying your decision.

The first thing we have to do is make sure that you completely understand your options with respect to their post-secondary education.

TRADITIONAL POST-SECONDARY
EDUCATION OPTIONS

If you intend on continuing your education beyond secondary school, you have three traditional options, namely:

bulletUniversity

bulletCollege of Applied Arts & Technology

bulletApprenticeship Programs

NON-TRADITIONAL POST-SECONDARY
EDUCATION OPTIONS

Besides the three traditional options, you also have other non-traditional options, namely:

bulletPrivate Career College
bulletOnline University and College Programs

What are the options for students from the Greater Sudbury Area?

Students Who Go Directly To Work After High School

About 50% of students entering Grade 9 today will end up going directly to work after they finish Grade 12. What happens to those students? Where do they turn to for help?
