Welcome to
YOUR STUDENT PAGE

This is a very special web site that has been designed as a public education service to help recognize the accomplishments and achievements of the students, teachers and parents of the elementary and secondary schools serving the Town of Valley East.

Robert Kirwan, B.A. (Math), M.A. (Education)
Independent Education & Career Planning Agent

Without a doubt, putting together Your Student Page is a labour of love for me, especially since most of my teaching career was spent instructing students in Valley East.

As a professional career educator who is now running a private practice as an Independent Education & Career Planning Agent, it is my privilege to be able to provide this space to showcase the accomplishments and achievements of our young students in Valley East.

These boys and girls will soon be men and women, responsible for leading us into a bright and prosperous future. Along the way they are doing some pretty remarkable things in their schools and Your Student Page is one way that we can all keep on top of the Education Scene in this community.

I therefore extend a sincere invitation to all principals, classroom teachers, students and parents to feel free to send me photos, stories and information that I can place on this web site for everyone to read.

With your help we can make it look as if there is an army of "reporters" and "writers" in our community, all covering the happenings in our local schools.

There is absolutely no charge for having your stories and articles featured and stored on this site. It is hoped that Student Page will soon become the first place people turn to when they want to find out anything about education in Valley East.

Call me at my office number: (705) 524-7006; my home number: (705) 969-7215; or by email.

I hope you enjoy Your Student Page...

It is my pleasure to provide students, parents and teachers of the entire City of Greater Sudbury with a wide variety of education and career planning services. Please take time to check out some of the web site links to the right so that you can become acquainted with the many ways you might be able to benefit from The Greater Sudbury Learning Clinic.

A Special Program To Recognize The Accomplishments And Achievements of Students of Valley East.

The community of Valley East is the fastest growing section in the City of Greater Sudbury. We are also the community with the largest average number of people per household - a statistic which is indicative of the number of children living at home. As a result, Valley East is a place where schools are being built and expanded, not closed. We have a total of 15 schools serving the population, and a large number of our youth also attend schools in Sudbury. It is a booming community largely because our schools offer some of the finest experiences in the region.
