The Hanmer Valley Shopping Centre is located at the corner of Elmview Drive
and Highway 69N. It is rated as one of the top five shopping centres in the Greater Sudbury Region with up to 50 stores and services available in the comfort of an
indoor climate-controlled environment. There are several stand-alone
businesses on the property as well.

Place Val Est is situated in the heart of Val Caron, which is considered to be the centre of economic development in Valley East. The stretch along Highway 60N, from the "top of the hill" at the lights to Valley View Road, to the Whitson River is heavily concentrated with numerous businesses and services. The Val Est Mall is the 'anchor' location which attracts thousands of consumers each week.

Considered to be one of the smallest malls in the region, Hilltop Plaza is nevertheless rich in history and is a welcoming beacon to consumers as they enter Hanmer Village. The commercial base of Hanmer is not quite as concentrated as Val Caron, nevertheless, there are several well established businesses in the Village which offer fine choices for local residents.

Valley East  Industrial Park

The Valley East Industrial Park is one of the fastest growing industrial centers in the City of Greater Sudbury.  Many of the businesses also offer special services to local residents who will be pleasantly surprised at the variety. You will discover that  the industrial park does not mean that goods and services are only available to big industrial customers. There is so much for the average homeowner that many people will be very truly amazed. This area is quickly becoming recognized as one of the major retail shopping centres of the community and indeed, of the Greater Sudbury Region.
