Introducing Dr.
Douglas Hanson |
|

|
|
"Welcome to Hanson Family Dentistry, where
everyone here truly believes that establishing a lasting
relationship with our clients is one of our most important
functions. Effective, open and honest communication is therefore the
foundation of everything we do. Your comfort and confidence means a
lot to us, so, in keeping with that philosophy, I think it is
helpful for you to know everything you can about me, both as a dentist and
as a person."

| Personal Background |
| My roots in Valley East extend back to the age of three,
when my parents built and moved into their first home. My passion for
dentistry goes back almost as far, in fact, by the age of eight there was
little doubt in my mind that I would be a dentist. My goal of becoming a
dentist was achieved in 1992 when I graduated from the dental program at
the University of Toronto. I am proud of the fact that my drive and
determination not only helped me to graduate at the top of my class, but
has also enabled me to build a successful dental practice where I am
committed to offering my very best to all clients.
I feel very strongly about being involved in my community and am
grateful to be in a position to help out by sponsoring individual players
and teams in a variety of sports activities as well as taking part in
school trips and fundraising ventures. I enjoy coaching minor soccer and
hockey and enjoy my leisure time playing hockey, golf, camping,
snowmobiles and boating.
I find that practicing dentistry gives me tremendous satisfaction,
mostly because I am able to help people who are seeking solutions for
their dental needs. Dental health is so very important to each and every
one of us, and being able to make a difference in the lives of my patients
is extremely gratifying. |
